There have been two releases of the movie Top Gun so far. The original Top Gun movie was released in 1986. This action-romantic movie is a blockbuster starring Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis as leads. The original movie revolves around a trainee pilot. His sheer disrespect for higher authorities was only to prove that his father was not some reckless person who was not a team player. The original Top Gun movie can be considered as cinematic souvenirs that have captured the heart of so many people. It is a masterpiece to be released in the mid-80’s.

Top Gun (1986) was quite a hit. Directed by Tony Scott and produced by Simpson/ Bruckeimer, this film has a splendid military setting. Tom Cruise, once again, returns back in this sequel. Tom Cruise’s character Pete Maverick Mitchell is immensely celebrated in this highly anticipated movie that is to be released on May 27, 2022. Many audiences are looking forward to getting the same action thrill from this movie.

In December 2019, the production house released its behind-the-scenes shooting. The stunts shot in this movie were done live using real planes making the entire experience stunning.

The second trailer of Top Gun 2 released along with its teaser. In this trailer, the audiences witness a new group of trainees who are being trained by Maverick under his wing. It shows a fight sequence between Rooster and Maverick following the possible death of one of the trainees. The teaser, on the other hand, released during the 2020 Super Bowl. This teaser shows Maverick running into some kind of trouble.

Original release date
The original release date of this movie was scheduled on July 12, 2019. So, it was almost three years back. However, it had been postponed quite a few times. Finally, it got postponed to June 26, 2020. After quite a few delays, the movie is supposed to get released on May 7, 2022.
