The MCU or Marvel Cinematic Universe is a franchise of American media. It is a shared universe that revolves around a series of superhero movies produced by Marvel Studios. The superhero movies get based on the characters appearing in the comics issued by the Marvel Comics. The MCU franchise also incorporates short films, literature, television series, digital series and movies. This shared universe got created by crossing common plot elements, casts, settings, and characters, much like the original Marvel Universe in the comics.
One such successful MCU movie released recently is Shang Chi.
An overview of the movie: Shang Chi

It tells the time when the Marvel Cinematic Universe will use its tremendous power to run an assembly line. But it is equally clear that one of their projects has deep human sparks and gets dominated by franchise values such as stunning spectacles, striking performance, and intricate family depictions.
Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is the latest addition to the latter variety, following the earlier Marvel movies that presented the vision and became an example. This movie uniquely fits Marvel’s packaging, but it is a very soulful one to watch for other Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies, superhero movies, and general action movies.
Shang-Chi, played by Simu Liu, is a significant play in a broken family with a history of power struggles. The dynamics of a dysfunctional family bestows as enormous power of Shang Chi’s power-hungry father, Wenwu, who built a society known as Ten Rings that destroyed the kingdom and influenced the events. He lived for 1000 years. Peace came when Wenwu found love with Jiang Li (Fala Chen). They marry and start a family. But after the death of Shang Chi’s mother, a new monstrous and despicable Wenwu tried to turn Shang Chi into a professional killer and mature, resulting in Shang Chi leaving Xialing (his sister, played by Meng’er Zhang) and Wenwu.
Weapon-based kung fu master Shang Chi has been forced to face his past after being involved in the Ten Rings society.

Nevertheless, in revenge for the death of his mother, he decided to give up his nirvana and put his family’s past behind him. In search of a new life outside the shadow of his father, Shang Chi fled to the United States and lived a tranquil life in San Francisco with his friend Katie Chen under the name Shaun. Ultimately, the ten rings targeted Shang Chi, so he joined forces with his Cu Xialing (his sister) and Chen (his alleged girlfriend) to oppose Wenwu in an attempt to defeat Ta Lo’s dark gate. Shang Chi and the Legend Of Ten Rings officially became the most significant hit of the MCU right after its release. All thanks to the medley of an exclusive theatrical release, positive criticism, and public reception, the film was able to achieve this milestone. Shang Chi was already a notable entry in the MCU as the first Asian character film in the franchise to feature Simu Liu as the lead and primarily Asian actors. However, since its release, it has garnered word of mouth. It contains informative ideas ample and diminutive, including tight action scenes, platonic friendship in a mega-budget film. It also introduces an exciting new hero that must teach his friends his name pronunciation. This picture is not experimentation for Disney and Marvel. It is a favourable template for how things can get made right again.
